Jana Barakis wins after Petra Gerster
Jana Barakis will soon be joining the “Hood” newsgroup on ZDF. He wins after retired Petra Gerster.
On May 26, 66-year-old Petra Kerster retired from ZDF with her last “hood” broadcast. Journalist and presenter has been running a total of 3,661 issues since 1998. His successor, Jana Barekis, 39, will moderate “hood” news at 7pm on July 1, ZDF announced.
Known from the afternoon and morning magazine
Parajis will lead the show alternately with Christian Sewers, 52, and Barbara Hallway, 52. Born in Hamburg in 1981 as a presenter and journalist, he is a familiar face to ZDF audiences – as the main editor of “ZDF-Mittagsmagazin” among other things, he is seen several weeks a year. Prior to that he worked as a reporter, editor and editor of “ZDF-Morgenmagazin”. Barracks has been with the station since 2014.
