The U.S. Air Force (USAF) 11th Wing is seeking a program analyst to serve in Arlington, Virginia, with applications being accepted until Monday.

This position is currently open to candidates that meet one or more of the following criteria: current USAF employees, under Schedule A of the Employment of People with Disabilities program and the Veterans Employment Opportunity Act, transfers from federal agencies or from another branch of the Department of Defense (DOD) and those within the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain top secret security clearance.

This position’s primary task is serving a senior policy analyst in the area of countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) and will be responsible for guiding and developing projects, policies and research to facilitate CWMD efforts of the USAF. This person will be expected to interact with position counterparts in other areas of the force and within the DOD. This position will also develop and implement concepts for operations for counter chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (C-CBRN) programs.

This position requires at least one year of working experience at the GS-13 level of government work or equivalent, with specializations in conducting and designing studies, negotiating with management and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative measures to improve procedures and planning related to USAF mission efforts.
