The U.S. Army is seeking a test and evaluation manager at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

This position will serve the Joint Project Manager Protection, directing, planning and coordinating, in addition to completing other activities associated with testing and evaluation for chemical and biological defense programs. The successful candidate is also expected to provide analysis, and will be tasked with the development of reports, technical notes and other documents. This position also acts as a subject matter expert relating to this area, and will provide advising and assistance in program changes to reduce overall risks.

Candidates need at least one year of working experience at the GS-13 level of government work or equivalent with specialized experience in developing chemical and biological test infrastructure, methodologies and supporting defense capabilities in these areas. Experience will also require leading integrated teams regarding the development of chemical and biological defense testing.

Candidates should provide evidence of their skills and knowledge in defense acquisition systems, being able to coordinate testing and evaluation processes, and to review, develop and coordinate documents associated with testing and evaluation operations. This position also requires U.S. citizenship and Selective Service registration for men. Candidates must be able to obtain secret security clearance.
