ISN/CTR to offer project grant
This announcement serves to garner submissions for an available $3.7 million during the fiscal year. The announcement notes that the ISN prefers the full list of activities to be provided by the eventual awardee, but submissions on individual items will be taken for consideration.
The ISN/CTR serves mitigation of proliferation risks in countries and regions that show increased terrorist activity.
Among the list of funded activities is the ability to offer traveler support, managing logistics for training and workshops, in addition to the procurement and delivery of equipment utilized in a laboratory or equipment that is highly technical.
Proposals must consist of an application for federal assistance, a form that is available on the grants.gov website. The project proposal itself must include a budget that details the amount of funding that is needed with specified amounts that are to be spent on areas including: personnel benefits, supplies, construction, contractual services and travel expenses.
The evaluation of each proposal will be focused on the organization’s capabilities, the activities of the proposed project, budgetary needs and previous performance with relation to federal funding and grants.
