The Ohio Air National Guard announced on Monday that they have an opening for a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) program specialist position that is open to current Ohio Air National Guard personnel.

For this position, candidates must have U.S. citizenship and minimum military rank or grade of SrA or E4 respectively. This position is tasked with evaluation of CBRN Program aspects such as the Ability to Survive and Operate (ATSO) tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) This person will also be expected to assist in developmental activity for emergency management measures, aiming to minimize hazardous events and their respective effects.

This person will also be tasked with maintaining flight core competencies that applies CBRN operational environment methods and battlespace management through the use of simulation and decision support software.

This position will also be expected to train and provide instruction to Emergency Manager flight members in all areas and procedures associated with CBRN hazards.

Those ranked or graded higher than TSgt/E6 will not be considered for this position. Applicants will be required to possess education or other training that includes compiling reports, memoranda and contacts. Applicants will need a thorough understanding of administrative and managerial procedures.
