FEMA seeking support services supervisor, supervisory program manager
Both positions will be based out of Washington, D.C. The support services supervisor will be tasked with direction of promotion and development of accountable property planning policy and operations. This person will also be expected to take on oversight of accountable property function areas and will be providing recommendations related to the development of Disaster Relief Support policy and procedures. This person will also act as a representative for this area of assignment in interagency and intra-agency groups.
For this position, candidates will need at least one year of working experience in developing procedures, contracts and policy for accountable properties, as well as providing guidance and advice in relation to the Disaster Relief Support requirements. This position also requires experience at the GS-14 level of government work.

This position serves as the Cadre Coordinator and will be tasked with the development and sustaining activity of reserve workers that are deployed on an intermittent basis. This position will be expected to manage force structure changes, coordinating with Human Capital on staffing issues and will be evaluating work performance of employees. This person will also be expected to assign and mitigate duties and provide oversight of disaster titles and FEMA’s qualification system.
This position requires at least one year of working experience at the GS-13 level of government work with specialization in supervising employees and supporting sound business practices, in addition to applying emergency management policy, doctrine and guidance.
