The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced in a job opening on Thursday that they are seeking management analysts at their Washington, D.C., office.

This position will be tasked with providing recommendations and other information for administrative and program aspects for the acquisition office. Typical duties may include cost analysis development for projects and performing cost benefits for projects and future programs, effective procedure development and identifying important data for management and program direction purposes. This person may also take on assessments of the efficacy of programs and their management and analysis of functions and work processes.

Basic requirements for this position include U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation. Candidates for this position will need at least one year of experience at the GS-12 level of government service or within an equivalent position. Experience in this work should consist of acquisition practices research, process and procedure analysis for projects, developing cost analyses and data identification for management and direction purposes.
