Team Aberdeen Proving Ground to hold Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry

Team Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) has announced that it is anticipating holding the fourth annual Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry event Nov. 3-5 at the APG headquarters in Maryland.

Due to the event still being subject to conference and funding approval, APG has said that this announcement is meant purely as a save-the-date announcement rather than a formal invitation.

The Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry event is intended to help provide networking opportunities and information for those involved within the industry. The subjects planned for discussion included Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Research and Development; Chemical/Biological Defense; and the APG Garrison.

The three-day event well help small businesses overcome the challenges they face as new technologies emerge in commercial environments. APG believes that the agility and innovation that small businesses bring to the Army ecosystem play a critical role in helping shape development, competition and solutions.

For the moment, the event is planned to take place at the Myer Auditorium, Building 6000, and Building E4516 of the Chemical Demilitarization Training Facility. Registration is open to all interested contractors, academia and businesses both small and large. However, while the event is not classified, attendees must be U.S. citizens.
