GMI to host defense and intelligence conference
This event will be hosted by the U.S. Multi-INT Tradecraft Community of Practice and welcomes all within the first response field, including federal civil servants, local law enforcement communities and members of industry, specifically those involved in defense and intelligence fields.
"This event is an opportunity for the federal civil, industry, first responders and law enforcement personnel to share tradecraft knowledge with Department of Defense and intelligence community practitioners," GMI President Shawana Johnson said. "The goal of this cross-discipline exchange is to solve complex intelligence issues and maximize resource allocation."
There will be classified and unclassified sessions during the event. Those that are interested in participating as speakers and demonstrators should submit registration and materials by Friday, and those interested in attending should register -- with security clearance, if applicable -- by Sept. 4.
This event aims to collect and share analytical information and to identify challenges and needs in order to better address them in roundtable discussions that could influence the further development of the intelligence community and how it interacts with members of these communities.
