General Dynamics-IT seeks emergency management planning lead

General Dynamics-IT has an opening for an emergency management and continuity of operations planning exercise program lead specialist, it announced in a job posting Tuesday.

This person would facilitate, design and lead emergency management exercises and coordinate enterprise-wide planning and implementation. The lead specialist will prepare exercise documentation that includes scheduling, briefings, exercise and scenario materials, and after-action reports. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

This position may be expected to act as a supervisor, present information and participate in briefing and training sessions. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant area to the position and candidates should have at least 10 years of working experience.

Candidates who hold a master's degree in a relevant area and those with incident command and Department of Defense experience will be given preference. Candidates should also have one or more of the following certifications: Homeland Exercise Evaluation Program training, Certified Business Continuity Professional training, Federal Emergency Management Agency Incident Command Systems training, or Master Exercise Practitioner training.

Applicants will be required to obtain a top security and sensitive compartmented information clearance with an accompanying polygraph test.
