Prepared Response names sales veteran as vice president

Prepared Response, Inc. announced Tuesday that sales veteran Gus Derezes has been selected to be the company's new vice president of sales.

Derezes served as vice president of sales and marketing at UtilX Corp. in Kent, Washington, and has worked in sales and management for approximately 30 years.

“We are really excited to have Gus join our team to help us accelerate sales growth of our emergency preparedness technology and campus safety solutions,” Prepared Response CEO Jim Finnell, said. “Gus brings strong sales team leadership to our rapidly growing operations which currently serves customers in 27 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Canada.”

At Prepared Response, Derezes will be focusing on having the company's emergency preparedness and crisis management system utilized across the country and on the company's overall strategy for growth and pursuing expanded market initiatives.

Prepared Response specializes in technology and consulting services within the emergency management and response arena. Their flagship system is the Rapid Responder system, which has been used to mitigate lock downs, active shooter situations and bomb threats.
