NDIA details upcoming conference

The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) released details of its annual conference and exhibition on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense that will take place Tuesday through Thursday.

This conference allows industry members and government officials the opportunity to better understand the needs of the joint CBRN program and how to address them. This conference will take place at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Building 4516 in Edgewood, Maryland.

Registration will begin to take place Monday from noon to 5 p.m. and will be open throughout the conference. Attendees will have the chance to listen to speakers who will be presenting throughout the three-day conference, including representatives from the U.S. Armed Forces and government officials from several offices.

At the end of each day, there will be a large amount of time set aside for networking opportunities. There also are shorter breaks for networking activity to occur between presentations.

Conference operations will take place between 8 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Tuesday; between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday; and from 7 a.m. to noon on Thursday.

Registration is still open with fees ranging from $180 for military or government personnel, $485 for NDIA members and representatives from academic institutions, and $605 for non-NDIA members. This price covers meals supplied by the event, access to the exhibit hall and general admission to each session for all three days.

This conference is co-hosted between the NDIA and the Joint Program Executive Office of Chemical and Biological Defense.
