City of Baltimore seeks emergency management analyst
An emergency management analyst is responsible for the analysis of emergency management and issues of homeland security. This will include the preparation of reports and other supporting functions of the office in its entirety. This person will take part in developing and assisting in maintenance of emergency plans, short- and long-term project management, implementing corrective actions when needed, and acting as a representative of the agency in regional and local meetings.
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in an area relating to public administration, policy, emergency management, public health or statistics. Candidates should also have experience in analysis, research and executive briefing preparation. Candidates should express analytical and communication skills. An advanced degree or special certification in emergency management, public administration and policy, public health or other experience in these areas is desired and candidates with these will be given special consideration.
