AECOM seeks senior exercise planner
This position entails the planning, evaluation and conducting of exercises and drills at the plant and other facilities. This position will be expected to draft after-action reports, exercise plans and evaluation reports, among other related documents. This position will serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization during drills and real emergency events and the selected candidate is required to have the ability to be on an on-call basis in case an emergency.
In order to be considered for the position, applicants must have a combination of higher education and working experience in emergency management or response. Those with a bachelor's degree will need at least 10 years of working experience and those with a master's degree will need at least eight years of working experience. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be able to perform essential duties with little to no supervision.
Candidates that hold emergency management certification, previous waste isolation plant experience or a master's degree will be given preference. Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office software and must possess the ability to write effectively in a technical fashion.
