Los Angeles County seeks senior disaster services analyst
This position is responsible for the management of response activity in a disaster situation: the formulation, development and implementation of disaster service plans. This person will also be expected to train departmental staff in emergency preparedness, evacuation, business recovery, shelter care and disaster planning.
In the case of an emergency situation, the senior disaster services analyst will be in charge of information distribution and the coordination with regional and state agencies for mitigation, response and other areas relating to a disaster or emergency situation.
This position requires a minimum of three years of full-time work experience within an administrative setting with high responsibilities; one of these must have been served in an emergency or disaster services context. Candidates must obtain a Class C California driver's license, or the access and use of an alternative form of transportation, in order to complete job duties.
