Noblis seeks biotechnology subject matter expert
If hired, the candidate will assist in the evaluation of programs and initiatives and update materials based on the latest scientific research in biotechnology that can be used in prevention, preparedness and response. They will also assist in the development of new initiatives or products that can integrate or advance existing programs.
The SME will provide support in the development of mechanisms that can be used at the local, regional, national and international levels for the mitigation of biological risks and threats, as well as enhancing intelligent gathering and facilitating law enforcement investigations.
A bachelor's degree in the life science field is required for the position, although a master's degree is preferred. Eight years of experience, including life science research, policy development and project management is also required for the biotechnology SME position, as well as two years as a weapons of mass destruction or science and technology intelligence analyst.
Candidates must also be able to develop products with law enforcement and national defense organizations for domestic and international audiences.
Applicants selected for the position may undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information.
The position will be based out of Washington, D.C.
