Pentagon Force Protection Agency to award contract for EMS support
The contract recipient will be responsible for providing support services to the EMS, including the measurement of complex winds in complex terrain, such as dense buildings, highly advanced sensor systems to sense the atmosphere, the replication of airborne plumes and indoor/outdoor airflow systems and the development of climate control systems during extreme temporal and spatial incidents.
The WHS called for a Request for Proposal, HQ0034-14-R-0032, under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation on an unrestricted basis. The contract is expected to be a hybrid, with a firm fixed price and sever no fee cost reimbursement line materials. It is expected to have a 12-month base period, with four additional 12-month options.
