Colorado emergency preparedness office makes staffing changes
Greg Stasinos was promoted to the position of deputy director of the OEPR. His new duties will include assisting the director with strategic planning and day-to-day decisions for the office, partner requests and legislative issues.
Stasinos previously served as the deputy hospital preparedness program grant manager, the tactical communications coordinator and the department operations center manager for the CDPHE. He will continue to manage the communications and emergency line team, as well as the department operations center.
The office also announced that Greg Schlosser rejoined the OEPR as a systems administrator. Schlosser also serves as an administrator for multiple OEPR systems including WebEOC, EMResources, Dialogic Communicator and CO-SHARE. He is also a learning support and instructional design specialist within the CDPHE.
The OEPR also announced that Britta Johnson joined the office's behavioral health team as the crisis counseling program coordinator for the September flood event. The OEPR's activities related to the September floods and last year's Black Forest Fire include going door-to-door in affected communities, attending community events, providing support to affected individuals, working with immigrant populations and meeting with elementary school students in several of the affected areas.
