FLIR CFO resigns, Harrison promoted to senior VP

Tony Trunzo, chief financial officer of FLIR Systems, Inc., is leaving the company on March 27.

The company said Trunzo, who is also the company's senior vice president of finance, will work closely with Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principle Accounting Officer Dave Muessle to pave the way for a smooth transition. Muessle will serve as the interim CFO until one is officially appointed. 

"I would like to thank Tony for more than a decade of dedication and outstanding service to FLIR," FLIR CEO Andy Teich said. "His leadership and contributions played an important role in the growth of our company during his tenure. We appreciate all that he has done for FLIR and wish Tony all the best in his future pursuits."

The company specializes in the development and manufacture of sensor systems that serve thermal imaging, security and situational awareness areas. 

The company also announced that Shane Harrison has been appointed senior vice president of corporate development and strategy. 

"I would like to congratulate Shane on his recent promotion," Teich said. "In addition to Shane's involvement in our shareholder communication efforts, he has played an important role in the company's acquisition activity. I look forward to working with Shane directly and am excited to see the great work that he produces in this new role."
