U.S. Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) will continue to serve as the chairman for the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade during the 114th congressional session.
Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, also named Reps. Darrell Issa (R-CA,) Reid Ribble (R-WI) and Lee Zeldin (R-NY) to the subcommitee.
They will join returning members Reps. Joe Wilson (R-SC), Paul Cook (R-CA) and Scott Perry (R-PA) on the subcommittee.
Previous members of the subcommittee were Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who is now his state's junior senator; and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).
Royce also said that Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) will continue as chair of the Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats.
Poe will also serve on the subcommittee with the addition of Reps. Mo Brooks (R-AL), Randy Webber Sr. (R-TX), Dave Trott (R-MI) and Ribble.
Previous members of the subcommittee included Rep. George Holding (R-NC) and former Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX), who was defeated in the November elections.
"With the foreign policy challenges facing this nation growing, the Foreign Affairs Committee -- the full committee and its subcommittees – will have an active two years ahead," Royce said. "I look forward to working with all committee members to tackle our many global challenges through oversight, deliberation and legislation."
