Hotzone Solutions (HZS) said Monday it reached an agreement last month on training, consulting and testing procedures with the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences (VI) Department of Radiation and Environmental Protection.
The agreement stipulates that HZS will provide consulting services alongside staff members from the VI. HZS will be able to utilize VI facilities for radiation training and be able to access testing services and equipment to help develop knowledge of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) situations and threats. The move allows HZS to strengthen its partnerships and services that will help the company better serve different regions on a global scale.
VI began as a research institute of the natural sciences in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1948. VI research covers physics, biology, chemistry, power engineering and technology, radiation and environmental protection, accelerator and materials science.
HZS specializes in training and consulting on the national stage. HZS was founded by former military and civilian experts within the defense industry. It provides CBRN training to military, law enforcement and emergency personnel. The company has training centers and locations in countries that include Canada, the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic and Serbia.
