Bovine anthrax case confirmed in Argentina

Laboratoria Azul in Argentina reported Tuesday that a young heifer that had died suddenly has tested positive for anthrax. Laboratoria Azul Co-Director Ramon Noseda said the heifer came from a herd of approximately 1,300 animals, the area where the herd is located in Buenos Aires Province, which has had past cases of enzootic anthrax.
