Dutch technology group Philips after a presentation to the United States decided to contract Omnicom as its new global advisor. Philips posted this on its website today.

The decision is still subject to a final contractual agreement. Omnicom is a non-operating holding company for various networks and individual agencies. In the future, TBWA will work with Philips for Creative, OMD Media, FleishmanHillard and Ketchum for Public Relations. For special assignments, for example, Interbrand, Critical Mass, and Omnicom Precision Marketing Group (OPMG) should be consulted. FleishmanHillard and Ketchum have been on the tech group for ten years.

In Germany, where Philips is headquartered in Hamburg, there has been collaboration with FleishmanHillard and the Dentsu Group (Carat office and MW). The stadium was launched earlier this year.

According to Lauren Barber Miller, Head of Marketing & Ecommerce at Philips, Omnicom is designed to help Philips “deliver unique, personalized customer experiences.” “We are developing e-commerce and digital engagement strategies first, which enable us to meet our customers where and how they want. This brings with it the purpose of the Philips brand – to improve people’s health and well-being through targeted innovations.”
