So-called tropane alkaloids were detected in a sample of corn and pepper flakes. Tropane alkaloids are natural compounds found in some plants such as henbane, prickly apple and killer shade. It can lead to temporary health problems such as nausea, drowsiness, and headaches.
As a precaution, buyers of chips should not eat them anymore and can return products with the exact dates best before that to the respective markets, where they will receive a replacement. Other product return dates and other Natura products are not affected.
