Laos: Dengue cases in Khammouane, Oudomxay and Vientiane

More than 2,000 cases of dengue fever in 2023

According to the Laos Ministry of Health, there have been 2,041 cases of dengue fever nationwide since January:

The highest number of dengue cases was recorded in Khammouane State with 364 cases, while 318 cases were recorded in Oudomxay Province and 234 cases in the Lao capital Vientiane.

Residents are asked to remove potential mosquito breeding areas around their homes and workplaces to help stop the spread of the disease..
