Washington (dpa-AFX) – International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) posted higher profits in the third quarter than a year earlier. The company earned $194 million, or $0.76 per share. In the third quarter of last year, it was $85 million, or $0.75 per share.
Excluding special items, International Flavors And Fragrances Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $226 million, or $0.88 per share, for the period. The company’s third-quarter revenue increased 141.7% to $3.07 billion, compared to $1.27 billion a year earlier.
