Dengue Todesfälle in Mato Grosso do Sul
The new report from the State Department of Health (SES) reported two more deaths from dengue fever in Mato Grosso do Sul. The two lived in the communities of Aquidauana and Navira.
In the first four months of this year, the region has already seen 19 dengue deaths. The number of deaths in the first four months is already equivalent to 79% of deaths in 2022, the year in which 24 people died of dengue. Compared to 2021, the year in which 14 people died, the number of deaths has already increased by 35.7%.

A total of 20,160 cases of the disease have already been confirmed, which is close to the total number of dengue cases recorded in 2022 (21,328) and already exceeds 2021 (8,027).
