Illustrator Krista Porter from “The Snoopy Show” shows this step by step in the “Today at Apple” video series. She had slept a little lately.

Today at Apple is the name of a free series of workshops that the iPhone manufacturer offers in its stores. Apple has been offering free online workshops via Cisco Webex since 2020. Now the group is taking a new path and posting lessons on YouTube. The first episode shows how you can draw yourself as a Peanut character – using the script and layout of the program pages.

The video tutorial will be moderated by Apple Creative Professional Anthony and artist Krista Porter. She usually works on the storyboards for “The Snoopy Show”. The Peanuts series runs on Apple TV +. Porter shows the correct steps for 10 minutes. Unlike the original format, sessions no longer work like a webinar where you can ask questions. According to Apple, it plans to upload more “Today at Apple” sessions to YouTube. These should be creative projects of photo, video, art and design, CNET writes. In each video, experts demonstrate different techniques.

YouTube is just an extra channel

Anyone who knows “Today at Apple” knows that there are also variants on the German-language website Tutorial videos in der Sektion „Today at Apple at home“ Fun. It shows, for example, how to use kitchen gadgets to create sounds for Garageband and how to create cool photos with your iPhone and iPad. The series has been falling asleep lately, as the new episode on Youtube could wake up to a new life.
