The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is hiring a supervisory emergency management specialist to work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C.
The successful candidate, who must be a U.S. citizen, will oversee mission-critical work for the National Continuity Programs Directorate.
The job requires being on call around the clock, which may require irregular work hours, extensive travel requirements to other duty stations lasting weeks or months with little advance notice, and working in physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
The salary range for the position is $128,082 to $160,300 per year.
