Coast Guard seeks CBRNE management and program analyst.
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a management and program analyst for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) capabilities and processes.

This position will be based in Washington, D.C., and is open to current USCG permanent federal civilian employees. This position is subject to pre-appointment and sporadic drug testing, and U.S. citizenship is required.

The position’s primary task is the review and drafting of CBRNE related requirements and capabilities that ensure USCG is executing missions appropriately and within the National Biological Defense Strategic Plan, the Global Nuclear Detection Architecture and the Homeland Security Chemical Strategic Plan.

Duties within this will include drafting policy, instructions and other documents relating to antiterrorism, force protection and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) mitigation and countermeasures. This person will serve as a subject matter expert on WMDs and will be expected to serve on 12-hour watches as a liaison between USCG and crisis action teams.

For this position, at least one year of experience at the GS-13 level of government work or equivalent is required. Specialized experience includes formulation and planning for WMD programs; acquisitions of defense and weapons systems; and drafting operational requirements and policies.
