Cubic Global Defense delivers training system to Ukrainian army.
Cubic Global Defense (CGD) has delivered $1.7 million worth of specialized training systems to the Ukrainian army, the company announced on Wednesday.

Included with this delivery are Combat Vehicle Adapter Kits and versions of the Instrumented-Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System Individual Weapons System (I-MILES IWS) that are used by the U.S. Army. The vehicle adapters allow the Tactical Vehicle System (TVS) to provide simulations involving different military vehicles.

According to the announcement these systems are compatible with the Ukrainian army's existing systems.

“Cubic provides ongoing support to our nation’s allies and coalition partners in the most critical environments at the most critical time,” Bill Toti, president of CGD, said. “Providing advanced training equipment and responding quickly to our customers’ needs for effective and affordable training, especially in areas of conflict, is a great priority for Cubic.”

The I-MILES system simulates firing capabilities and the resulting effects of different weapons. It utilizes lasers to act as rounds so that hits can be detected and soldiers can receive training and familiarity with weaponry before using a firing range.

CGD will also be providing training and support services, so that the systems are being run effectively.
CGD focuses on the development of training systems for security, defense and military applications and serves U.S. and allied military clients.
