The successful candidate will be charged with the development of corporationwide protocol and procedures in the identification and incident management and command over cases of the Ebola virus or other related communicable diseases.
This person will plan and develop the policies and procedures involved with laboratory practices, and coordination of pre-hospital policy with city and state emergency medical services.
The person also will serve in logistics- and training-related work that will include the design and implementation of training courses and other educational programs. This position also will be expected to participate in exercises relating to frontline activity and will perform tasks related to all-hazard emergency management.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in an area relating to health care, engineering, social services, business or public administration. In addition, the successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a health care planning program, research or analysis. A master's degree in public health, public or hospital administration, health care or a related field is preferred; and candidates who meet this requirement only need four years of work experience listed above.
