G4S Secure Solutions seeking Washington, D.C., operations center analyst

G4S Secure Solutions announced an opening for an operations center analyst at their office in Washington, D.C.; the application window will close on May 25.

An operations center analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data in order to support the center in its operations. This will include the monitoring of networks for possible interruption and external information, in order to prepare threat briefings. Analysts will also keep track of multiple communication systems and networks.

Analysts will also be expected to proofread several kinds of documents and maintain client relations. This position will involve the learning of and adapting to new software and technology.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a field relating to emergency management, communication, information technology or engineering. Candidates should also have working experience in an area related to the position, which can include technology, customer service and communication.

Candidates should show that they have critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills and proficiency with the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Notified, Outlook and other content management systems. Candidates should also have experience with coordinating and executing administrative tasks and be able to produce analytical information and products.
