Hagerty Consulting seeks senior managing associate for preparedness division
The individual hired for the full-time, Washington, D.C.-based position must be flexible to travel for extended time periods within the U.S.
The senior managing associate will report to the director of preparedness and work closely with the director of recovery. The person hired will participate in lead project initiatives for federal, state and/or local clients related to homeland security and emergency management. Work may include improvement of training, contingency plans, emergency operations, gap analyses and capabilities assessments.
Hagerty is seeking candidates with a working knowledge of federal emergency preparedness and response programs and proven experience applying the knowledge in a variety of project settings. More specific experience includes the ability to develop various types of emergency plans and conduct threat analysis, interpret and apply federal preparedness guidance, develop and deliver training programs, manage complex projects, and conduct business development.
Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree and five years or more of experience in emergency management, disaster resilience, information technology, medicine and public health, and/or law enforcement. Preferred candidates must be able to attain secret clearance.
