PositiveID to present at Marcum MicroCap Conference

PositiveID Corporation, a developer of biological diagnostics and detection solutions, announced on Wednesday that it will be a featured presenter at the third annual Marcum MicroCap Conference on May 29.

William Caragol, the chairman and CEO of PositiveID, will speak at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 29 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. The presentation will also be available via a live webcast.

The Marcum MicroCap Conference is an event showcasing high quality, under-followed public companies with less than $500 million in market capitalization. Marcum, LLP, is one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory firms in the U.S., providing services spanning accounting and advisory technology solutions, executive and professional recruiting, and wealth management.

PositiveID Corporation is an emerging growth company and a developer of biological detection systems and rapid biological testing for America's homeland defense industry. The company seeks to develop microfluidic systems for the automated preparation and performance of biological assays to analyze biological samples and detect biological threats.

PositiveID recently signed a Space Act Agreement with NASA's Ames Research Center to collaborate on testing the company's Firefly Dx detection system. The company is developing Firefly to meet the need for rapid and accurate point-of-need diagnostics to assist first responders, hospitals and other providers.
