SOFEX scheduled for May 5-8 in Jordan

The 10th Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference, a conference with an emphasis on counterterrorism, homeland security and special operations forces, will take place on May 5-8 in Amman, Jordan.

SOFEX is the only special operations conference and exhibition held in North Africa and the Middle East, a region that imports 60 percent of the world's military defense and security equipment. The conference will be held at the King Abdullah I Airbase.

SOFEX features guest speakers, interactive discussions and dialogue about the latest challenges facing special operations forces worldwide. The event also includes an exhibition meant to showcase the equipment, technologies and innovations necessary to the success of counterterrorism, homeland security and special operations. The conference allows defense ministers, law enforcement officials and government decision makers to network and establish new business with exhibitors and corporate officials.

"SOFEX brings together companies of all sizes, subcontractors, suppliers, military officials, decision-makers, influencers and buyers from countries across the globe, to network and establish new business," the conference said. "Don't miss this opportunity to advance your knowledge and expand your network!"

The USA Security and Defense Pavilion will be on hand at SOFEX to offer marketing support from the American Embassy to help exhibitors of U.S. security and military technology. The pavilion is supported by the Association of the United States Army.
