ASIS security conference set for March 13-14

ASIS International, a global community of security practitioners, recently announced that it would hold its 24th New York City Security Conference & Expo on March 13-14 in New York.

The event, which ASIS refers to as the northeast region's premier event for security and law enforcement professionals, will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center. According to ASIS, there will be more than 3,000 attendees taking part in the event.

The expo allows attendees to compare cutting-edge services and products, get face time with the experts and find security solutions they need. Security professionals can learn lessons and best practices from experts on hand through the expo's education program. Members of the security and law enforcement community can also network with peers from all disciplines in the public and private sector.

The ASIS Global Terrorism, Political Instability and International Crime Council will also be sponsoring a special terrorism conference track.

Attendees preparing for a board certification can also take part in a certified protection professional or physical security professional certification classroom review on March 11-12 at the Executive Conference Center.

ASIS International is a community comprised of 38,000 security practitioners with roles in the protection of property, information and assets. ASIS International members include entry-level managers, CEOs, security veterans, consultants, law enforcement and the military.
