Argon to exhibit at CBRN First Response

Argon Electronics said on Friday that it will show its latest simulators at the CBRN First Response conference on Feb. 11-12 in Leicester at the Mecure Hotel.

Argon said a theme of the conference is training and simulation for CBRN/HazMat response, and the company is well-positioned to provide expert information on the subject.

Argon will exhibit sophisticated chemical and radiation detector simulators. The exhibit will feature the company's collection of RADSIM probes, which can be used with the CANBERRA AN/PDR-77 and RDS100 survey meters to provide effective and professional training.

The company will also show the PlumeSIM, a field exercise training system that provides realistic training scenarios.

CBRN military and civil response professionals from the UK, Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United States and Europe will attend the CBRN First Response event.

Argon's clients, the Police National CBRN Centre and the Defence CBRN Center, will also have exhibits at the conference.

Argon Electronics was established in 1987 and manufactures simulators and detection equipment for CBRN defense. Its equipment and software is used in civil response to unconventional terrorism and accidental chemical release. The company is growing its presence in nuclear energy generation and education markets.
