Team R3 awarded $55 million contract from U.S. Air Force

MacAulay-Brown, Inc., announced on Monday that Team R3, composed of MacB and R3 Strategic Support Group, was awarded a $55 million contract by the United States Air Force's Air Mobility Command.

The contract was awarded, with R3 as the prime, to help provide all USAF Major Commands with Explosive Ordnance Disposal with support services. Team R3 will be expected to provide training support, equipment upkeep, servicing program and accountability programs to all MAJCOMs with EOD usage.

"We partner closely with the Air Force to ensure our Airmen in EOD units are properly trained, equipped and supported," Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB's Mission Systems Group Fred Norman said. "Today's award with R3, combined with our existing EOD work at Air Force Civil Engineer Center, the Air Staff and other related Joint EOD/CIED tasks, makes us one of the few recognized EOD support services providers throughout the Air Force."
