JCBRN Defense COE invites Hotzone to contribute to CBRN training course

The Czech Republic's Joint CBRN Defense Center of Excellence recently invited Hotzone Solutions, an international training and consultant company, to contribute to a training course in Vyskov, Czech Republic.

Hotzone Solutions, a practice oriented chemical, biological, radioactive, nuclear and explosives training provider, assisted the JCBRN Defense COE in a course called, "Introduction to the International CBRN Training Curriculum." Hotzone instructed lectures on decontamination and detection learning outcomes in accordance with minimum standards and non-binding guidelines for first responders.

Hotzone Solutions instructors supported the CBRN incident command and control with the Sphynx Incident Command Tool during a tabletop exercise.

The training, which took place between May 20 and May 24, is meant to make sure that first responders across NATO members and their partners have the common knowledge base and minimum level of preparedness to respond to CBRN incidents.

Hotzone Solutions was invited to future NATO CBRN COE courses, confirming a relationship between the training provider and the JCBRN Defense COE.

According to the company's website, Hotzone Solutions has the mission of providing live agent training with chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive materials, CBRN consulting and CBRN medical countermeasures training. The company also provides live agent testing services for emergency responders, military organizations, law enforcement officers and physical security specialists around the world.
