The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced Monday that six more health care centers across the U.S. have been named prevention epicenters.The newly named epicenters, which will be charged with developing and researching protective measures and countermeasures against emerging pathogens, are Johns Hopkins University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Emory University, University of Iowa, University of Utah and University of Maryland at Baltimore.
